In the World’s Universities with Real Impact (WURI) Ranking 2021, Far Eastern University (FEU) was ranked 79th place in the Global Top 100 Innovative Universities. An improvement over last year’s 91st spot.
Filipino Artists Dexter Sy and LJ Ablola, both graduates of fine arts in FEU, are set to hold an exhibition of their artworks in the well-renowned Yeongwol Park Museum. Yeongwol is a contemporary art museum in the outskirts of Seoul (Gangwon-do, South Korea) and has grown to be one of the go-to places of tourists and art enthusiasts due to its unique and stylish artworks.
The FEU Manila’s newest building called FEU Transformative University Resource Center (FEUTURE Center) is now completed and equipped to provide a conducive and new-normal-ready learning environment to the new generation of tamaraws.
The Basic Education Building of FEU Silang Campus is one of the honorees (Peoples’ Choice Award) in Haligi ng Dangal Awards 2020. Designed by Ar. Daniel Lichauco (Archion Architects), the building is dubbed as an environmental institutional structure for the K-12 students of the university and specifically built to meet the needs of a younger student population.
ChizMozza, the first fried MOZZARELLA CHEESE food stand in the Philippines and established by Marydae Hannah Ramos, a 2013 AB communication graduate from Far Eastern University, was declared a winner of the 2020 NextGen in Franchising Philippines Competition.
Doctor Jeremiah Lim, a 2014 cum laude graduate of Medical Technology from FEU Manila and medicine at the FEU Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (FEU-NRMF) topped the recently concluded 2021 Physician Licensure Exam.
The university was hailed as the top four best performing medical technology schools in the country based on the January 2021 Medical Technology Licensure Examination (MTLE). FEU Manila recorded an 88.89% passing rate or 112 passers out of 126 examinees.

To continue to serve our alumni community during the lockdown, we migrated all our activities and services online. We now have an online Alumni Card Application, Alumni Online Store, Tamaraw Conversation (TamCon), Alumni Speakers Bureau Webinar Series, and last December 5, 2020, we had our first virtual Alumni Thanksgiving Concert in lieu of the face-to-face annual alumni homecoming.
Dr. Karen Remo, an AB Mass Communication graduate of FEU and a Filipina CEO based in Dubai, won the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year Award’ in the Gulf Capital SME Awards 2020, one of the most prestigious award-giving bodies for entrepreneurs and business leaders in the region.
