Through the FEU Alumni Relations Office, Far Eastern University participated in Servathon 2023: “Stop Stunting, Start Thriving,” an annual volunteer service marathon organized by Hands On Manila last Oct. 21, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).

This year’s marathon, which gathered hundreds of volunteers from various companies and corporate partners, seeks to help fight malnutrition among Filipino children and prevent them from contracting physical ailments and impaired intellectual ability. Around 30 employees and students from the FEU Group of Schools volunteered to join this years’ service marathon.

Annually, FEU joins this meaningful activity to instill the spirit of community service and volunteerism among FEU employees, alumni, and students.

Through the concerted effort of its volunteers, FEU was able to plant 70 chinese malunggay plants. Volunteers also prepared packed nutritious meals and nursing covers, which were then distributed to at-risk children and nursing mothers from underprivileged communities in Rizal province.
