Dr. John Yason, Ph.D., Dean of the Institute of Health Sciences and Nursing (IHSN), and Mr. Celmer L. Santos, MBA, Director of Alumni Relations, met with UCLA College of Nursing Dean Lin Zhan and Associate Dean Lauren Clark. Together with Ms. Carmelita Rafols, RN, FEU Nursing Alumni Foundation Advisor, and Dr. Emma Cuenca, an FEU alumna and Program Director of UCLA Nursing’s prelicensure programs, toured the UCLA simulation laboratories.

The Far Eastern University Men’s and Women’s Football Teams emerged victorious at the recently concluded UAAP Season 85. The men’s team secured its 10th UAAP Men’s Football championship after beating the defending champion Ateneo de Manila University, while the women’s team collected its 11th UAAP crown at the expense of the defending champion De La Salle University. The two victories gave Tamaraw’s football program a “treble,” as the boys’ team was also crowned champion earlier this year.

The newly appointed officers of the Far Eastern University-Alumni Foundation Inc. (FEUAFI) swore their oath of office during the brief Oath-Taking Ceremony officiated by the new Vice President for Corporate Affairs, Rowena Capulong Reyes, Ph.D., last April 28, 2023. Vice President Reyes conveyed her enthusiasm and eagerness to collaborate with the FEUAFI officers in a brief but heartfelt statement.

The FEU Alumni Relations Office and the Office of the Chair held the 95th Founding Anniversary Alumni Lunch last April 25, 2023. Several alumni, excelling in their respective fields, have been invited to join this exclusive luncheon with President Michael M. Alba and Chair Aurelio R. Montinola III. Also present at the gathering are former SVP for Corporate Affairs, Atty. Gianna Montinola, and Alumni Relations Office Director, Mr. Celmer Santos.

The dean of the Institute of Arts and Sciences (IAS) since July 2019, Dr. Rowena Capulong-Reyes takes over the helm of Corporate Affairs, the office with which she was affiliated when she joined FEU in July 2014 as manager of the Marketing and Communications Office.

The Far Eastern University Board of Trustees (BOT) has announced the appointment of Juan Miguel Montinola as the next President of the FEU Group of Schools. He will formally succeed Dr. Michael M. Alba on August 1, 2023, becoming FEU’s 11th president.

FEU-Diliman’s Boys’ FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL, and VOLLEYBALL teams were champions of the UAAP Season 85. FEU-D Football team won its 11th consecutive UAAP championship after beating De La Salle-Zobel in the exciting finale, which was held at the UP Diliman Football Field in Quezon City.
