LAPE Grantees passed the November 2023 Nursing Licensure Exam

A total of 509 FEU Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduates hurdled the November 2023 Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination by the Professional Regulatory Commission. FEU scored a 98.20% rating for first-time takers 490/499, while the overall rating finished at 97.88%.

The four pioneer grantees of the Lydia A. Palaypay Endowment (LAPE) board exam review sponsorship passed the recently concluded Nursing Licensure Examination. Jahnna Marcelo, Sophia Musni, Marinelle Santos, and Trisha Talag applied for the grant earlier this year to get a subsidy for their enrollment at a nursing review center.

In a Facebook post, Trisha thanked the donors for the financial support she received: “To Dr. Lydia A. Palaypay, with the help of the FEU Alumni Relations Office, I am sincerely grateful to you for granting my nursing board exam review classes. It is a privilege to be a recipient of your kindness.” “I hope someday I can also give back to my alma mater and to future nursing students,” Trisha quipped.

Apart from board exam review subsidy, LAPE also offers scholarships and subsidies for seminars, conferences, and presentation of research papers. Currently, LAPE has three FEU nursing student scholars. The application for the next batch of grantees will reopen in January 2024.
