Tamaraw Nurse hailed as the 2021 Filipino-Kiwi Hero Outstanding Healthcare Professional.

Arby Manalansan, a BS Nursing batch 1994 graduate, was awarded the Outstanding Healthcare Professional during the 2021 Filipino-Kiwi Hero Awards, organized by Filipino News New Zealand. According to the awards website, Arby counseled many distressed Pinoy Migrants and defended Pinoy nurses and other migrant workers receiving unfair treatment. He is also the former President of the Filipino Nurses Association of New Zealand and is currently the Chief Executive Officer of MA Healthcare Group Limited which has 4 facilities in the country.

Filipino-Kiwi Hero Awards aims to showcase the many contributions of Kiwi-Filipinos, colloquially called “Kiwipinos,” in New Zealand.
