2nd International Nursing Conference

The FEU Alumni Relations Office and Institute of Nursing, in collaboration with FEU Nursing Alumni Foundation, Inc. – USA (FEUNAF, Inc. – USA), spearheaded the 2021 FEU International Nursing Conference last May 27 and 28, 2021, PST and May 26 and 27, 2021, EST. The conference is on its 2nd year of providing opportunities to nursing professionals and students to learn from expert practitioners and academicians from the best hospitals and universities in the world. This year’s theme, “The Role of Nurses in Emerging Global Health Issues,” focused on the importance of the nursing profession not only in the medical field but especially in the ongoing global pandemic due to COVID-19 and was done virtually.

The roster of invited speakers, who were consist of seven (7) exemplary FEU alumni, were practitioners and academicians from Columbia University, Rutgers University, Oxford University, Jacksonville University, Baylor College of Medicine, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harris Health System, New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and the Department of Health of the Philippines. 

To all medical practitioners and students who missed the chance to participate in this event, the 2-day online conference was recorded and will be available for access and viewing for 30 days with a minimal access fee. Access rates are as follows:

  • Foreign Attendees – Minimum Donation of (US$ 20.00)
  • Foreign Attendees (Students) – Minimum Donation of (US$ 10.00)
  • Local Attendees – Minimum Donation of (PHP 500.00)
  • Local Attendees (Students) – (PHP 100.00)

The proceeds of this conference will go to the OneFEUfund campaign, which will support the Scholarships and Financial aid program for nursing students. With the help of our alumni community and partner organizations, FEU funds an average of over 3,500 scholars every year, representing about 11% of the university’s total student population.
