The FEU Alumni Relations Office (ARO) gathered the recipients of various alumni-named scholarships, including the Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso Scholarship, Lydia A. Palaypay Endowment, Vi Group of Companies Scholarship, and FEU Alumni Association Scholarship for the turnover ceremony of their grant certificates.
Vice President for Corporate Affairs Rowena Capulong Reyes, and ARO Director Celmer Santos were present to award the certificates. The awarding was preceded by a kumustahan session, a casual group check-in activity to know how the scholars are coping with the demands of their academic requirements and to get updates on anything going on in their life. Reyes shared her brief yet inspiring message to the scholars as they continue their academic journey.
The named scholarship is an initiative of ARO which aims to support financially challenged but deserving Far Eastern University (FEU) students. This initiative demonstrates FEU’s resolve to contribute to the fulfillment of SGD 4, which is “to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.”
