Committed to its goal to produce globally competitive graduates who exhibit the core values of fortitude, excellence, and uprightness, Far Eastern University incessantly looks for ways to provide the necessary learning experience and environment for its students to reach their full potential. It strives to deliver a well-rounded education to its students to make them future-ready.

To address employability, which is one of the most pressing concerns among students and graduates, and to ensure that FEU graduates thrive in the world of work even through the technological disruptions of the 21st century, FEU partnered with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group to boost its graduates’ employability and career paths. The FEU Institute of Technology, the FEU Manila Institute of Accounts, Business and Finance, and the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management are the three institutes that underwent the pilot assessment.

The IFC-VITAE consultants Shamim Kazemi and Dalila Suhonjic conducted focus group discussions and interviews with several FEU stakeholders, including academic managers, faculty, students, alumni, and partner employers during their visit to FEU from September 18 to 20 to validate data from the Student and Alumni Employability Surveys conducted from April to September and from the accomplished self-assessment form. On the last day of their visit, the IFC consultants presented the preliminary synthesis of the information gathered from the surveys and interviews.
