FEU Nursing Marks 70th Anniversary with Barrio Fiesta Celebration
Alumni nurses from across the globe gathered at the Far Eastern University (FEU) Mini Auditorium for a vibrant Barrio Fiesta celebration commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the FEU Institute of Nursing, honoring seven decades of excellence in nursing education and service.
Organized by the FEU Alumni Relations Office in partnership with the FEU Institute of Nursing, the event brought together nursing alumni from different parts of the world in a festive gathering that celebrated the Institute’s rich history, achievements, and enduring legacy. The occasion highlighted the strong bond among Tamaraw nurses and their shared commitment to the profession and the University.
Embodying the spirit of Filipino culture and community, the Barrio Fiesta served as a venue for alumni to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate their common roots as members of the FEU Nursing family. The gathering reflected the Institute’s long-standing tradition of producing competent and compassionate healthcare professionals who have made significant contributions both locally and internationally.
Adding color and excitement to the celebration were special performances by the FEU Dance Company and the FEU Chorale, whose presentations showcased the talents of FEU students and brought pride and joy to attendees. The performances underscored the University’s vibrant artistic heritage while enhancing the festive atmosphere of the milestone event.
The celebration also recognized the generosity and support of the FEU Centennial Bench donors, whose contributions to the OneFEUFund continue to help advance programs and initiatives that benefit future generations of Tamaraws. Organizers expressed their appreciation for the donors’ commitment to building a lasting legacy for the University community.
