The FEU Alumni Relations Office unveiled the FEU Centennial Benches last February 23, 2023. Senior Vice President for Corporate Affairs Atty. Gianna R. Montinola and two of the donors, Dr. Lydia Palaypay (former VP for Academic Affairs) and Mr. Glenn Nagal (FEU Comptroller), led the ribbon cutting. The other eight sponsors of the Centennial benches include Ms. Edwina Lema Beech, Dr. Marilou Cao, Mr. Marcelo Casilan, Jr., Ms. Amor Collera, Mr. Victoriano Cruz, Mr. Christopher Ferareza, Mr. Ramon Ferreros, and Ms. Evelyn Ng.
This initiative aims to generate funds for FEU’s seven campus-based cultural groups: The FEU Bamboo Band, Chorale, Dance Company, Theater Guild, Drum and Bugle Corps, Drummers, and Guides. Sponsors who donate PHP 100,000 earn a campus bench in their name. The FEU Centennial Benches is a fund-generation campaign for the OneFEUfund, a collective effort of the alumni to ensure that bequests are successfully passed on to the next generation of Tamaraws.
