FEU Alumni visits Brgy. Quilitisan for donations and capacity-building seminar

The FEU Alumni Relations Office, through the assistance of the SWORD FEUSF Alumni International Association(ROTC), donated a brand new motorcycle with a sidecar to Quilitisan Livelihood Credit Cooperative, a cooperative initially organized by FEU Community Extension Services to help uplift the standard of living among residents of the said coastal community. The organization manages different small business ventures such as rice selling, mushroom cultivation, and soap making. The motorcycle with a sidecar will help the cooperative transport its goods and products to its customers.

Apart from the donated motorcycle with “bangkulong” and refrigerator, the cooperative members also benefitted from the capacity-building seminar where Dr. Rosalind Wee, Vice-Chair of the W Group of Companies and a trustee of the FEU Alumni Association, Inc. (FEU-AFI), shared her knowledge and experience in managing a business. FEU-AFI president Christopher Ferrareza and SWORD representative Allan Flores were also present during the seminar and turn-over ceremony.
