IABF ALUMNI FOUNDATION HELD ITS FIRST ‘VIRTUAL’ HOMECOMING AND ASSEMBLY

The IABF Alumni Foundation collaborated with FEU ARO to hold its first virtual homecoming and assembly last September 24, 2021. The online event was done via Zoom and was attended by the board of trustees of IABF Alumni Foundation, academic managers and faculty of the institute, and alumni from different batches from the 1970’s up to the recent batch of graduates.

The FEU ARO Director, Mr. Celmer L. Santos, formally opened the event followed by a special message from the outgoing President of the IABF Alumni Foundation, Ms. Sherisa Nuesa, who is also an independent trustee of FEU. Ms. Nuesa encouraged all alumni to be more engaged and proud of their alma mater as FEU is receiving a lot of recognition and creating milestones even in the midst of the pandemic. After Ms. Nuesa’s message, updates about the institute were also discussed by Mr. Earl Joseph Bergonia, OIC-Dean of IABF.

Participants toured the FEU campus virtually with the help of the FEU Guides under the FEU Center for the Arts. A new set of board members of the IABF Alumni Foundation were voted in.

The new board members were announced and as follow:

  • Editha S. Bunuan

  • I am a true blue tamaraw having attended my elementary, high school, & college, and even my masteral units at FEU. I am also from IABF from 1976 to 1980. A lot of my batchmates in college were not aware that there had been an IABF alumni homecoming. We were not informed that there was such an event. How come?????

  • Hello to Glenn C. Balane, my classmate/batchmate 1979
Also to my former boss, Mr Alfredo Parungao- Hi Sir, am still with PNOC. Keep safe!❤️
